2025-05-19
The 13th China (Hunan) International Mineral & Gem Expo is being held at the Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center from May 16 to 20.
This year’s expo is themed “Creating New Consumption Experiences—Bringing You a Star from the Sky.” The event features four major themed exhibition zones: Mineral Crystals, Colored Gemstones, Fossils & Meteorites, and Arts & Crafts. A total of 1,200 international-standard booths have been set up, attracting more than 70 overseas exhibitors from 35 countries and regions, alongside 530 domestic exhibitors.
Over 10,000 rare specimens are on display at the event, including the lunar meteorite NWA, the Brazilian URUACU iron meteorite known as “Celestial Envoy,” and the Argentine Esquel pallasite “Cosmic Treasure.” The Meteorite Pavilion is a highlight and an immersive embodiment of the expo’s theme—“Bringing You a Star from the Sky.”
During the expo, a wide range of forums and special exhibitions are taking place, including the 2025 Chenzhou Bismuth-Tellurium Industry Development Forum, a seminar on Museum Integration and Innovative Development, the Meteorite Theme Exhibition, the International Mineral Return Exhibition, the “Belt and Road Overseas Chinese Support for the Mineral Expo” Art Exhibition, and the science-themed “Sharing the Beauty of Crystals – Discovering the Mineral Expo.” These activities offer visitors not only a visual feast but also rich educational experiences.
Approved by the State Council and filed with the Ministry of Commerce, the China (Hunan) International Mineral & Gem Expo is the only international trade fair in China dedicated exclusively to minerals and gemstones. First launched in 2013 and permanently hosted in Chenzhou since 2015, the expo has grown into the largest and most internationally influential professional mineral and gem event in Asia.
